My Philosophy: Healing the Whole Person
Much of human suffering stems from disconnection—from ourselves, our bodies, and the people around us. When we are disconnected, it ultimately creates profound internal distress and dis-ease. If you have ever felt lost, discouraged, or compartmentalized by a rigid healthcare system, I want you to know that I deeply understand.
My practice is built on the belief that you cannot treat the mind without honoring the rest of the self. Together, we will work to safely reconnect you with your core purpose and values, fostering greater authenticity, resilience, and well-being in all areas of your life. You are a whole, unique being—and you will not be put in a box here.
The Turning Point: Moving From Fragmented to Holistic Care
My absolute commitment to holistic, integrated care grew directly out of my own life. Healing from my own history of complex trauma and autoimmune illness showed me firsthand how fragmented our medical and mental healthcare systems can be.
For years, I struggled to navigate a web of separate specialists who rarely communicated with one another. Each professional treated only a single piece of my symptom picture, leaving me feeling utterly exhausted and hopeless. That multi-year journey ignited my passion to change how therapy is done. It is always my aim to see you clearly, look at the big picture of your health, and meet your needs exactly as they show up.
Clinical Expertise & Integrative Roots
My clinical and holistic journey began in 2002, studying and practicing Mindfulness Meditation under a Buddhist Psychologist. I have worked as a therapist in both high-acuity inpatient psychiatric units and outpatient clinics, supporting an incredibly diverse range of clients.
Driven by the understanding that trauma and stress are physically held in the body, I expanded my practice in 2015 to bridge the gap between traditional psychology, nutrition, and somatic work. I went on to earn professional certifications as a Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner. These diverse modalities fueled my multi-faceted roles as a university psychology instructor, dance and fitness teacher, and mindset coach. From 2017 to 2026, I specialized as a Yoga Teacher and Life Coach, offering intensive individual therapeutic sessions and transformative group wellness classes.
A Dedicated Return to Comprehensive Mental Health
In 2026, I chose to return to clinical mental health to serve my community in a more accessible, authentic, and comprehensive way. My "why" has always been deeply rooted in helping others ignite a connection to their own purpose-driven lives.
Beyond my private practice, my work is deeply anchored in community advocacy and resource-sharing. Over the years, volunteering within inpatient psychiatric settings, crisis intervention hotlines, mental health clubhouses, and the legal system as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) has grounded my life's purpose. These experiences continually deepen my commitment to collective healing and inform the care I bring to every client.
Wherever you are on your path to recovery, I am here to offer a safe, integrated space where you are heard, validated, and truly seen.
